Cuenca 2025
My third trip to the beautiful city of Cuenca, Ecuador, once again overlapped with the annual El Pase Del Niño Parade. While I knew I wanted to document the parade again, I challenged myself to make more meaningful portraits and connect with some of the encounters I made this year.
The bulk of the photos I took on this trip were with the lens that has been permanently attached to my Leica SL2-S for most of 2025, the Leica Summicron R 35mm version two. I purchased this lens at the beginning of 2025 and dedicated most of the year to this focal length, much like the previous year with my Summicron R 50mm version two in 2024.
